GP Cellulose’s Approach to Navigating EUDR Compliance Solutions
GP has long supported the value of protecting the world’s unique and endangered forests, maintaining forest diversity, and avoiding the conversion of natural forest. Therefore, we agree with the intent of the EU Deforestation-Free Regulation (EUDR), while we share the concerns of many impacted parties about the timing and clarify around implementation.
The European Deforestation-Free Regulation goes into effect on 30 December 2024. Even with lingering uncertainty regarding how the law will be implemented, GP Cellulose is preparing for the known aspects of the regulation.
As such we have developed programs designed to help our customers with data, information, and context. This can assist GP Cellulose customers with obligations as described in EUDR.
